Inspired by early craftsmen, our mint julep cups feature distinct style features like those on the original julep cups from each craftsman. Silver Gallery's Mint Julep Recipe:
3 oz Bourbon (only quality like Maker's Mark)
Fresh mint (about 6 springs, from the garden/plastic container in the produce section)
2 oz simple syrup (worth the time! equal amounts of water & sugar - bring to a boil)
Stir all ingredients in individual glasses. Muddle the mixture till the mint leaves are starting to bruise, about a minute or two.
Relax and let the mixture steep for another 2-3 minutes. Strain into chilled Sterling Silver Mint Julep Cups* filled with shaved/crushed ice.
Garnish with a mint leaf on top!
