Alabama Collection

Inspired by a presentation cup crafted in Mobile, circa 1846, by William and John L'Hammedieu, the Alabama Pewter Cups are some of the most distinctive in the Southern Craftsman's Collection.
The modified pear shape as represented in the Alabama Cups seems typical of the work of several Alabama artisans and was used as the basic design element for other vessels such as beakers, tea and coffee pots and wine chillers.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the Southern Craftsman's Collection is not only that Salisbury Pewter is helping to preserve the work of our ancestors and the legendary quality so revered in their craft, but also that they are bringing the Heritage of the Past to the People of Today.
